Mr. King is the owner of KING LAW OFFICE and has been practicing law in the same office since receiving his Doctorate of Jurisprudence, with honors, in 2000 from Mississippi College School of Law. Mr. King has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with honors, from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Mr. King was admitted to practice law by the Tennessee Supreme Court in 2000 and the United States District Court of Tennessee (Western District) in 2001.
Mr. King focuses on representing individuals in the areas of personal injury litigation, workers’ compensation, wrongful death, social security disability, and employment law litigation. Mr. King also serves as general counsel for several public entities including municipalities, public utilities, housing authorities, and school districts. In 2009, Mr. King was selected by the Tennessee Supreme Court to serve as a Hearings Officer for the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility.
Mr. King was named 2009 Readers’ Choice Best Attorney by the Carroll County News Leader. Mr. King is a member of the Tennessee Association for Justice (formerly Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association), Tennessee Bar Association, American Bar Association, Tennessee Association of School Board Attorneys, Tennessee Municipal Attorneys Association, Carroll County Bar Association and Jackson-Madison County Bar Association. In 2010 Mr. King was appointed by the Tennessee Supreme Court to serve as a member of the Board of Professional Reponsibility.

Mr. Thompson joined the King
Law Office in 2010. He received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 2008
from the Nashville School of Law, and has a Bachelor of Science in
Criminal Justice, from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He
was admitted to practice law in Tennessee by the Tennessee Supreme Court
in 2008.
Mr. Thompson focuses on
representing individuals in criminal matters including DUIs and all
other misdemeanors and felonies, and in the area of domestic relations,
including divorce, child custody, child dependency and neglect, and
child support.
He also represents individuals and
businesses in other areas of the law including general civil litigation,
property disputes, business organization, social security disability and
wills & estates.
Mr. Thompson is a member of the American Bar
Association, Tennessee Bar Association, Carroll County Bar Association
and Henry County Bar Association.
